Le  dimanche 15 Août 1999 à 1448 heures UTC, j'ai eu l'honneur et la chance de contacter l'astronaute Jean-Pierre Haigneré à bord de la Station Spatiale MIR. Cette journée constituait une des dernières occasions pour les radioamateurs du monde entier de contacter les astronautes à bord de MIR.  Mes conditions d'opération étaient:

Émetteur-récepteur: Kenwood TS-790A, 
Fréquence et mode: 145.985 MHz +/- Doppler, mode FM étroit
Puissance RF:  40 Watts
Antenne:  Yagi croisé 20 Éléments (polarisation Circulaire droite)
Rotor d'antennes:  Yaesu G-5400B Azimuth/Élévation
Logiciel de suivi:  Nova for Windows 95
Système de suivi d'antenne:  FODTrack

On Sunday August 15th 1999 at 1448 hours UTC, I had the honor and the chance to contact astronaut Jean-Pierre Haigneré aboard the MIR Space Station. That day constituted one of the last opportunities for radio amateurs around the world to contact the astronauts aboard MIR. My working conditions were:

Transceiver: Kenwood TS-790A, 
Frequency and mode: 145.985 MHz +/- Doppler, narrowband FM mode 
RF Power:  40 Watts
Antenna:   20 elements Cross-Yagi (right- hand circular polarization)
Antenna rotor:  Yaesu G-5400B Azimuth/Elevation
Tracking software:  Nova for Windows 95
Antenna Tracking System:  FODTrack
